MILWAUKEE – With more than 32 acres of exhibit space at North America's largest utility and construction show, attendees can have a hard time finding their way around the show floor. Enter The Utility Expo mobile app for both iOS and Android, a free download for attendees to help them find their way around the show and catch what they came to see.
“There are more than 900 exhibitors spread out over 32 acres of space, both indoors and outdoors, and only 3 days to see it all,” said The Utility Expo Show Director John Rozum. “That can be a daunting task without an app to help attendees find what they’re looking for, how to get there and keep track of all the other activities at the show like events and demonstrations.”
The app, launching publicly today, connects the exhibitor directory with the show floor map, lets attendees make a plan for what they want to see when they get there, and lets attendees keep notes on what they saw to review when they get home.
“We spent a lot of time listening to feedback from attendees at the 2019 show,” Rozum continued. “As a result, we made this the simplest, easiest to navigate, most attendee-experience-focused app we’ve ever put together.”
The Utility Expo runs September 28-30, 2021, at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky., and utility industry professionals can still save 15% by registering in advance.
